If I had to live in a society without books I would have given hard thought about trying to remembering these two books. One of those two would have been Give a Boy a Gun by Todd Strasser and my other book would have to be Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I would save both of these books to make sure the morals stay in our society.

It’s about Brendan and Gary who are two kids who are bullied in school by the jocks. They become so fed up with it they with all of it they decide to steal some guns and take the school hostage at a dance. All they want is revenge. So I would remember this book to tell people who bone-chilling and true this story could be. They even show facts about all school shootings and random facts about gun control. I would save this book because it shows how bullying can effects everyone and how after a while it digs in so deep that people even go to extreme and decide to hurt back and take someone’s life.

This story was based around censorship and all the effects on a society. It’s about firemen but they don't put out fires, they start them. The government makes them burn the books because they want people to be more equal mentally by making them only think about sports and not to think about anything so they won’t question it. So they think it will make the society better. But no one questioned it so they kept losing everything and so society never learned from any of the mistakes from the past. I would save this book because it shows how we have to learn to remember mistakes that we make because if we don’t we will just make the same mistake and our society will never grow or improve.
